Hello, I’m Karen, founder of HARK Psychotherapies. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. 


I have over five years experience working in NHS Psychological Therapies, forensic, and rehabilitation settings, supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health difficulties. 


I provide a safe, supportive space to help you navigate life’s challenges, feel heard, and create meaningful change.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based. Together we will develop a shared understanding of your difficulties and build practical tools to support long-term wellbeing.


My aim is to help you become your own therapist—developing confidence, resilience and self-awareness.
